Haven by the Sea Review

Once the summer mission of St. Martha's Church in Kennebunkport, this exquisite inn has retained many of the original details from its former life as a seaside church. The cathedral ceilings and stained-glass windows remain. The guest rooms are spacious, some with serene marsh views, and the upstairs suite has an ocean-view deck. The three common areas, all with fireplaces, are perfect spots for afternoon refreshments. There's full bar service, nightly happy hour with complimentary appetizers, and courtesy sherry, port, and brandy in the main parlor. The inn is one block from the beach.

Steps back from Wells Beach--a walking beach and quite neighborhood

Haven By The Sea is quite a find! We found them by chance as we were driving by the water's edge. The building was an old church and is absolutely beautiful with big rooms and common areas.. The Innkeepers were wonderful as was breakfast and Happy Hour.
