Southern Coast Restaurants

Arrows

Arrows Review

Elegant simplicity is the hallmark of this restaurant in an 18th-century farmhouse 2 mi up a back road. You'll likely find delicacies such as wild sturgeon caviar paired with vodka-cured salmon on the daily-changing menu—much of what appears depends on what is ready for harvest in the restaurant's abundant garden. The appetizers of roasted quail with fried noodles and of escargots with summer herb-butter are also beautifully executed. Try the "Indulgence Menu," a 10-course tasting menu prepared "at the whim of the chef," for $135. Guests are encouraged to dress up; no jeans or shorts.
