Newcastle Inn Review

A riverside location and an excellent dining room make this country inn a classic. All the guest rooms are filled with antiques and decorated with sumptuous fabrics; some rooms have fireplaces and whirlpool baths. There are two rooms designated pet-friendly, with private entrances. On pleasant mornings breakfast is served on the back deck overlooking the river. The dining room ($$$$), which is open to the public by reservation, serves six-course meals with an emphasis on local seafood and is open Tuesday through Saturday in season.
