Fodor's Expert Review LimeRock Inn

96 Limerock St., Maine, 04841, USA

Built in 1892 as a private home, the turreted LimeRock is perfectly located in Rockland's National Historic District. In the main part of the Victorian house the soothing decor in the eight guest rooms has been elegantly and meticulously appointed. Island Cottage, which features a jetted tub and doors that open onto a private deck overlooking the English garden, is especially appealing.

  • large in-town lot with gazebo
  • within easy walking distance of the Farnsworth Museum and many restaurants

CONS
