Fodor's Expert Review Newcastle Inn

A riverside location, tasteful decor, and lots of common areas (inside and out) make this an especially relaxing country inn. Rooms have classically styled newer furnishings and sumptuous fabrics. One room has a fireplace and two have gas stoves; another room has a private, ground-level entrance. On pleasant mornings, breakfast is served on the back deck overlooking the gardens and river. It's a short walk into town for dining and shopping.
