Not part of a chain despite the "Regency" name, this brick building in the center of the Old Port served as Portland's armory in the late 19th century. It's mostly new inside, but a few architectural features remain, like the fireplace in the Twenty Milk Street restaurant. Sleek, modern suites on the fourth level have floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies, sitting areas, and wet bars. All rooms have desks, flat-screen TVs, and terry robes. A big draw is the full-service
spa with a beautiful blue-green tiled hot tub, saunas, steams rooms, lounges, and an array of massage and other treatments, including a bamboo body polish, an organic seaweed wrap, and even eyelash tinting!
