Pokemon Go Art

The Portland Museum of Art teamed up with The Via Agency in order to launch PMA Go, a web-based game inspired by Pokémon Go. But instead of collecting Pikachus and Charmanders, players exploring the streets of Portland will be able to add Homers, Renoirs, and Wyeths to their own virtual art collection. And while the art may be digital, the benefits of playing are real. As players add to their collection, they can earn rewards like free admission to the museum or a free copy of The Collection: Highlights From The Portland Museum of Art.

I grew up in the shadow of the Appalachians in western Maryland. I received my B.A. in English literature from Washington College and moved to Los Angeles, where I’ve fallen in love with the gorgeous weather and abundance of food trucks.
