Fodor's Review:

This handsome seaside property has been in the hands of the Severance family since 1667. The modern hotel units, all with sliding-glass doors that open onto private decks or patios (half with ocean views), are appropriate for families; so are the cottages with one to four bedrooms. You can't get much closer to Kennebunk Beach. Pros: Ideal beachfront location, lawn games available, great ocean views from upper-floor rooms. Cons: Rooms are hotel standard and a little outdated (but fairly sized), not an in-town location.
