White Barn Inn

Fodor's Review:

Formally attired waiters, meticulous service, and exquisite food have earned this restaurant accolades as one of the best in New England. Regional New England fare is served in a rustic but elegant dining room. The three-course, prix fixe menu ($90), which changes weekly, might include steamed Maine lobster nestled on fresh fettuccine with carrots, ginger, and snow peas.

  • Keep in mind: Jacket required. Reservations essential.
  • Credit Cards: AE, MC, V
  • Closed: Closed 3 wks in Jan. No lunch
