Megunticook Campground by the Sea

Fodor's Review:

You can't have a better location for an RV park and campground than this: it is easy to find since the entrance is right on U.S. 1 just north of Rockland, and many of the sites in the campground face the sea. In addition to RV spots and tent-camping sites, cabin rentals are available. Rates during the high season are $35 a night for basic campsites, $45 a night for full-hookup sites, and $72 a night for cabins. Pro: A great location for easy access to Rockland or Camden. Con: It can get crowded and noisy with children during the peak season.

  • Hotel Details: 82 tent/RV sites, 10 cabins
  • Credit Cards: MC, V
  • Closed: Closed mid-Oct. until mid-May
