In addition to the expected seafood, the Helm offers French and American cuisine, accompanied by excellent views. Among the specialties on the French side are bouillabaisse, coq au vin, and coquille St. Jacques. On the American side, there's seafood, charbroiled steaks, and homemade soups and chowders. Locals rave about the huge salad bar. Specials include baked stuffed haddock, and the complete Maine Shore Dinner, which comes with lobster, stew or chowder, steamed or fried clams, corn on the cob, and dessert.
