Fodor's Review:

Near the village of Five Islands, this contemporary lodging sits on five secluded acres that run along the shore. Every room has a water view and features local art. Bring your kayak, or alternatively, use the canoe or one of the several bicycles available for outings. The inn's dock is perfect for sunbathing or watching the water. Stroll along nearby nature preserves or visit Reid State Park. Gulls, herons, and osprey are frequently sighted here, and you may catch a glimpse of the occasional seal or even a moose. Amenities include complimentary beer, soda and cookies, and lots of local art on the premises. Pro: On the water. Con: 13 mi from town.
