Log Cabin Inn

Fodor's Review:

Each of the bright, cottage-style rooms has a view in this luxurious lodging on Bailey Island. Among the most popular is the Mt. Washington Room, a second-story hideaway with a full kitchen and private deck with outdoor hot tub and an expansive view of the lobster boats sailing in and out of Mackerel Cove. Maine art is featured in each room, and colorful comforters drape the beds. The breakfast room has floor-to-ceiling windows with lovely views. In warm weather there are tables scattered about the patio. On the inn's decks and patio you can watch the lobster boats come and go. Pros: Every room has a full view of the cove, with lobster boats coming and going. Con: Away from town.
