Cook's Lobster House

Fodor's Review:

Inhale the salt breeze as you cross the world's only cribstone bridge (designed so that water flows freely through gaps between the granite blocks) on your way south on Route 24 from Cook's Corner in Brunswick to this famous seafood restaurant 15 mi away, which began as a lobster shack on Bailey Island. Try the lobster casserole, or the delectable haddock sandwich. Several specialties come in smaller portions. Lobster dishes are at the $$$$ rating. Whether you choose inside or deck seating, you can watch the activity on the water: men checking lobster pots on the water and kayakers fanning across the bay.
