Boothbay Railway Village

Fodor's Review:

At the Boothbay Railway Village, about 1 mi north of Boothbay, you'll find more than 50 antique automobiles and a gift shop, and you can ride 1½ mi on a coal-fired, narrow-gauge steam train that goes through a model of a century-old New England village.

  • Cost: $8
  • Open: Memorial Day-Columbus Day, daily 9:30-5
