Naskeag Point

Fodor's Review:

A few miles south of Brooklin, Naskeag Point Road leads to a broken-shell beach called Naskeag Point. From here you can take in views of the small islands in Jericho Bay as you picnic under the apple trees. A bench remembers "all the fishermen who brave the sea." This area, famous for being the site of the 1778 Battle of Naskeag, has a long history. An ancient Nordic coin was discovered on the beach. To find Naskeag Point Road, turn at the Brooklin General Store.
