Fodor's Review:
Oversize popovers with strawberry jam or homemade ice cream are a century-old tradition at this restaurant overlooking Jordan Pond. Dine outside on the tea lawn or the brick patio, or inside an enclosed porch or dining room. The lunch menu emphasizes sandwiches and salads, while the dinner menu includes seafood as well as beef and chicken. With two satellite parking lots, the restaurant makes an ideal base for hiking or biking along the nearby carriage roads. You can also use the adjacent boat launch for canoeing or kayaking on Jordan Pond. The gift shop sells bottled water, juices, and sodas from 9 to 9.

Between the popovers and lobster stew, the meal was outstanding. And the Fixed Price 3-course dinner was a great value in a resort area.
