By Boat in Acadia National Park

Many huge and famous steamships, such as the Queen Elizabeth II, occasionally visit the port of Bar Harbor, and there are a lot of smaller ferries going to places like the outer islands. But other than a few windjammers, such as the Margaret Todd, the only other major boat going to and from the island is The CAT, traveling to Nova Scotia.
