Fodor's Review:

The look and the feeling of this hotel is that of turn-of-the-century 1900s—and yet it was recently built, in 1994. Located in the heart of Bar Harbor, it is a short walk to the waterfront and to the downtown. Comfortable guest rooms have thoughtful additions such as coffeemakers and refrigerators. Meal plans at another hotel, the Bar Harbor Inn, can be arranged. Nearby, a shuttle service takes you to Acadia National Park. Pro: Good location for easy walking to restaurants. Con: Not right on the water (but close to it).
