Fishing in Acadia National Park

Several lakes and ponds throughout Acadia National Park attract anglers. Maine residents 16 and older and non-Maine residents 12 and older must have a license to fish in freshwaters. Fishing licenses can be purchased at town halls and at some stores. Fishing licenses are not required for ocean fishing.
