McGee's Landing

McGee's Landing Review

McGee's is a Cajun enterprise that covers all the bases. From its perch on the Atchafalaya levee, it offers a café serving local seafood (it's known for its boiled crawfish), a bar hosting live Cajun bands, and rooms to stay the night. For a real treat, you can rent a cabin ($$$) in a houseboat that's docked by the restaurant and watch the sun rise over the basin. The cabins are basic but comfortable, with their own bathrooms and air-conditioning. McGee's also operates a campground across the street, on Bayou Amy.
