Expect gracious hospitality, lovely antiques, and canopied beds in both the 21-room main house and Charlet House, a smaller structure on the plantation grounds that holds three of the inn's eight rooms for guests. A stay here is as much about the social experience as about the elegant surroundings: a Southern dinner is shared in the formal dining room at 7 pm, preceded by a cocktail hour in the library. The cost of a room includes breakfast and dinner.
