Fodor's Review:

An evening cocktail on the expansive front porch of the Columns, shaded by centuries-old oak trees, is one of the more romantic New Orleans experiences (and will be even better when streetcars are once again rattling past, probably in early 2008). The Victorian Lounge, with period decor and a fireplace, and plenty of decaying elegance, draws a white-collar crowd of all ages. Live jazz combos play Monday through Wednesday evenings.
