The Saint Hotel Review

A stellar Canal Street location and up-to-the-minute decor have helped The Saint make a big impression. Set in the 1909 beaux arts Audubon Building, which once housed a Woolworth's store, the eight-story hotel, part of Marriott's boutique line, wows with a lobby glittering with chandeliers, atmospheric photos of Mardi Gras, and acres of sheer tulle curtains. The compact, white-and-cobalt rooms are crisply outfitted with high-end bedding and cushy amenities. The restaurant, Tempt, has undergone a change of chefs since it opened. The rooftop bar and sundeck overlooking the city are great perks.
