Dauphine Orleans Review
Within walking distance of the action but removed enough to make it a secluded respite, this French Quarter hotel has a lot of charm. Rooms are spread among a main building and a smaller converted residence built in 1834. In the older portions of the property, rooms feature exposed brick and cypress beams. The hotel's atmospheric bar, May Baily's Place, was once a bordello. Some rooms have Jacuzzi tubs and marble baths. The Dauphine also runs the Audubon Cottages, which are a block away.
