Fodor's Review

It is possible to find quiet, homey accommodation on Bourbon Street—these pleasantly furnished rooms in the former slave quarters of an 1833 town house face a brick patio filled with tropical plants. A large two-room suite is in the main house, and all rooms have private entrances, kitchenettes, and ceiling fans.

Best flavor of the French Quarter

Great location on Bourbon St., just past rowdy section. Stayed in 2 BR, living room, kitchenette suite on 3rd floor with balcony. Great courtyard. Close to neighborhood groceries, delis and pharmacy. Within walking distance of everything in French Quarter. Well maintained. Would be very hard to beat if you want great location and great place to stay.

Rex is kind!

I read the comments from Rex (below) and decided I had add to what he said. Housekeeping is nonexistent. Rooms are tired tired tired. We stayed here after being at both La Maison Marigny and Parkview Marigny B&Bs. (Both were full the last two nights and we had to move.) Bon Maison was definitely disappointing and the price wasn't good either!
