Gauche House Review
The cherub design of the effusive ironwork on one of the most distinctive houses in the French Quarter stops people in the street. Built in 1856, this mansion and its service buildings were once the estate of businessman John Gauche, who lived there until 1882. Although the privately owned house is not open to the public, its exterior still merits a visit to snap a few photos.
