Fodor's Review

The original chef here was influenced by Caribbean flavors, hence the name of this one-room restaurant with a tropical courtyard. These days, though, the Martinique Bistro is known for its French cooking, including the orange-scented pumpkin bisque, wild mushroom beignets, and oven-roasted, cane-syrup-infused duck breast options on the menu. Make sure to budget for wine—the excellent list is continually updated. Dinner menus change every three months. The corner table in Martinique's courtyard is now a legendary marriage-proposal spot. Friday lunch is seasonable.
