Fodor's Expert Review The Saint George Hotel

Located 18 miles from Atchison across the Kansas–Missouri border, the Saint George is a destination for history buffs. Back in its heyday, the hotel—listed on the National Register of Historic Places and along Main Street in historic Weston—was the last stopping point for wagon trains before they crossed the Missouri River. Of the six room categories, all have a private bath and range from a standard guest room with a king or queen bed to one of two suites (the Captain's Suite or the Orval Hixon Vaudeville Suite) that include a living area and hot tub.
