Fodor's Expert Review Muddy Boots Café

Casual and eclectic, this café is tucked into a cozy little brick house and doubles as a live-music venue six nights a week. Sandwiches range from classic grilled cheese to Rev. Peyton's Big Damn Sandwich (named for a local musician) and come with either chips or slaw. All-day breakfast selections have a Southern twist, such as biscuits and gravy, and are hearty. There are two soup choices daily, including the signature vegetarian Muddy Bean soup.
