Fodor's Review

Rising dramatically at the end of LaSalle Street—heart of the city's financial district—this 1930, 45-story streamlined giant (Holabird & Root) recalls the days when Art Deco was all the rage. The artfully lighted marble lobby soars three stories, and Ceres, the Roman goddess of agriculture, stands atop its roof. Trading is no longer done here, but it's worth a look at what was the city's tallest skyscraper until 1955, when the Prudential Center topped it.
