Paris Club Review

A stuffy French bistro this is not: lighting is low, music is loud, and space is usually tight, but that's what attracts the well-heeled diners to this see-and-be-seen restaurant, downstairs from the velvet-rope Studio Paris rooftop club. The restaurant feels clubby, too, but it takes food seriously, courtesy of acclaimed chef Jean Joho (Everest). Parisian favorites like coq au vin, country pâté, and steak frites mingle among modernized dishes like macaroni gratinée with ham, and lobster crostini with truffled scrambled egg.
