Bistrot Margot

Bistrot Margot Review

We love this Old Town bistro for its faithfully executed menu, budget-friendly prices, and Parisian art nouveau interior, even if we have to sit a little too close for comfort to our neighbors. Chef-owner Joe Doppes whips up silky chicken-liver mousse, succulent moules marinières (mussels in white wine), escargots simmered in rich garlic butter, and expertly seared fish in amandine sauce. Head up to the second floor for additional seating - it has more of an intimate French country-home feel. Table spacing is tight and crowds are abundant, warranting your best behavior.
