Fodor's Review

We love this Old Town bistro for its faithfully executed menu, budget-friendly prices, and Parisian art nouveau interior, even if we do have to sit rather close to our neighbors. Chef-owner Joe Doppes whips up silky chicken-liver mousse, succulent moules marinières (mussels in white wine), escargots simmered in rich garlic butter, and expertly seared fish in amandine sauce. The additional seating on the second floor has more of an intimate French country-home feel.

Bistrot Margot continues to draw the crowds, so come early or make a reservation.
