A rib-and-blues emporium in the gentrified though still funky Wicker Park neighborhood, Smoke Daddy serves up tangy barbecued ribs—with generously supplied napkins for swabbing stray sauce. Fans pack the bar and the booths for the chow, which includes richly flavored smoked pulled pork and homemade fries, as well as for the no-cover R&B and jazz bands that play nightly after 9:30. It's a short walk from the Division Street El stop, making this barbecue spot an ideal
point from which to explore the neighborhood's hipster scene.

Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside.... they supposedly bake the beans all day long UNDER the ribs somehow, tocatch the juices... however they do it... the beans are worth the trip alone! Cold Beer, lot's of people-watching, friendly waitstaff make this a real suprise!
