Smoke Daddy

Smoke Daddy Review

A rib-and-blues emporium in the gentrified though still funky Wicker Park neighborhood, Smoke Daddy serves up tangy barbecued ribs—with generously supplied napkins for swabbing stray sauce. Fans pack the bar and the booths for the chow, which includes richly flavored smoked pulled pork and homemade fries, as well as for the no-cover R&B and jazz bands that play nightly after 9:30. It's a short walk from the Division Street El stop, making this barbecue spot an ideal point from which to explore the neighborhood's hipster scene.

  • Chicago and Where Else

We've never been to Chicago other than changing planes.

We'd like to go for a few days but that's a lot of flying to spend 3-4 days in one place.

    Any add-ons in the area?

    Thanks. Read more
