Carmichael's Chicago Steak House

Carmichael's Chicago Steak House Review

The look here is old-time Chicago—oak and brass, black-and-white photographs, and waiters donning black vests and ties—though the true vintage is late 1990s. We forgive them the ruse for the well-priced (under $40) Angus steaks, which make this one of the more reasonable top-tier steak houses in town (and one of the most popular for basketball fans heading to the United Center for a game). Orange-sesame glazed salmon or pan-seared scallops is a good nonbeef option. Live music lures prowling carnivores to the lush garden in summer.
