18th Street Review
Pilsen's main commercial strip is loaded with tempting restaurants, bakeries, and Mexican grocery stores. At 1515 W. 18th, past the "Bienvenidos a Pilsen" sign, is Nuevo León, a brightly painted family restaurant that has been an anchor in the neighborhood since the Gutiérrez family set up shop in 1962. Inhale deeply if the doors to the tortilla factory next door are open.
