The Majestic Hotel Review

It's no wonder lovey-dovey couples are a big part of this hotel's clientele; everything here—from the roaring fireplace in the lobby to wood-laden, cozy rooms with Victorian-style furnishings—says romance. Rely on the friendly concierge for just about anything, including reservations at the many restaurants in the lively Boystown and Wrigleyville neighborhoods just outside the door. Transportation can be tricky; because the hotel is on a quiet side street, you'll have to walk a block to flag a cab, and the El train is at least five minutes away on foot. Buses provide a straight shot to the Magnificent Mile, going through the Lincoln Park Zoo and nearby attractions.
