The Silversmith Hotel and Suites Review

Don't be fooled by the tiny front entrance under the El; the oak-covered lobby is enormous, one of the largest in the city. The guest rooms—with 12-foot ceilings—are also unusually large, each with natural light, and decorated in a soft color palette of muted greens and beiges. The furnishings are inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, and the window seats are a treat. Steps from Millennium Park and the Art Institute, it's perfect for art and theater lovers.

  • Chicago and Where Else

We've never been to Chicago other than changing planes.

We'd like to go for a few days but that's a lot of flying to spend 3-4 days in one place.

    Any add-ons in the area?

    Thanks. Read more
