Fodor's Review:
After you've shopped Michigan Avenue and the Gold Coast and you're ready to drop, plant it at the well-located Cru Café & Wine Bar for salve on a plate and in a glass. The 50-some by-the-glass pours, in addition to several hundred more bottle selections, pair well with elegant café fare such as the surf and turf lobster and beef tenderloin club sandwich, Cobb salad, and steak frites with cabernet jam. The gourmet take-out Goddess & The Grocer attached to Cru sells wine and nibbles to go if you prefer picnicking in your hotel room.
