This Japanese hipster helped turn Wicker Park's Division Street into a foodie destination. Make the trek for top-quality classic sushi and sashimi dishes, as well as lesser-known varieties, such as monkfish, horse mackerel, and rockfish. Display tanks keep a fresh supply of fish on hand. Don't know your toro from your hirame? Knowledgeable servers can guide you through the menu. For the full monty, sit at the sushi bar and put yourself into the hands of the inventive sushi chefs. The upstairs sake lounge is more about the scene and less about cuisine.

We received absolutely immaculate service here (and neither of us exude wealth or VIP-status). Perfectly attentive and low profile wait staff. However, I honestly cannot remember what I ate. I suspect this means that everything was well-executed, but nothing was surprising or novel.
