Fodor's Review:

Chicago movers and shakers mingle with conventioneers at Gibsons, a lively, homegrown, Gold Coast steak house renowned for overwhelming portions, good service, and celebrity spotting. Generous steaks and chops center the menu, but there are plenty of fish options including planked whitefish and massive Australian lobster tails. One dessert will feed a table of four. Reservations aren't required but are near essential given the hoards of fans.

We went here for our 10th anniversay dinner. This restaurant was recommended by many people, and rightfully so. The service and the food was outstanding. The dessert is enough for 8 to 10 people. We had a glass of wine, beer, salad, steak and dessert for $110. It was pricey but well worth it. The desserts are a great value considering how much you get.
