We like this place because it's really good and still manages to be rather low-key. Chef-owner Suzy Crofton breaks a few contemporary-dining rules: she doesn't pack tables too closely together in the small space, and she keeps the noise level down. Her food is similarly short on clichés but gratifyingly long on flavor. Dig into gutsy chipotle roasted Amish chicken or grilled venison with apricot jam.
