Fodor's Review:
Locals come here for downtown caliber fare in the neighborhood. The menu dabbles in French (duck breast with fennel and pancetta risotto) and Pacific Northwest (seared diver scallops with braised oxtails) flavors. The digs are warmly lighted and romantic, but in season opt for the lovely outdoor dining patio. Meritage's namesake blended wines and other American vintages center the wine list.
