Fodor's Review

The name is kitschy cute, and it's jammed with partying Lincoln Parkers, so you might not think the food is a sell point—but you'd be wrong: expat Spaniards swear this is one of the best Spanish restaurants in town, and the colorful Mediterranean-style interiors encourage the fiesta feel. The large assortment of cold and warm tapas ranges from goat cheese croquetas to spicy potatoes with tomato aioli. It's worth checking out the entrée menu, too, for paella and

skewered meats. In warm weather six different flavors of sangria flow freely on the outdoor patio.

Like in Madrid

I've lived in Madrid, and this place brings me back every time. It's so authentic and that makes it the best. I go every time I'm in Chicago.

Tapas for the Philistines

Welcome to the TGI Fridays of tapas. I dined with the unwashed masses and was suitable unimpressed. The food was ok assuming you could corral a server to place an order. The service was pathetic at best. Save you pesos and head the Cafe Iberico.... it beats it in every way.

Fun and tasty tapas

Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba is a really fun place, as the name might lead you to expect. But the food is seriously good, and there are some great wine and sherry choices to accompany it. Service is friendly too.
