Café Absinthe

Fodor's Review:

It's hip to be obscure. What else could explain Absinthe's move to put its sign out front but its entrance on an alley? Once you find the door, you'll enter a funky, theatrical restaurant well suited to the Bucktown neighborhood. Dishes like venison with cherries and butternut puree, asparagus-lobster risotto with mascarpone mousse, and horseradish-crusted salmon with a cabernet-tarragon-butter sauce play a starring role.
