Vivo was trendy on this west-of-the-Loop stretch long before Randolph Street's restaurant row got hot, and it still draws a crowd. It may be slightly more about the scene—brick walls, black ceiling, open wine racks, and lots of pretty people—than the cuisine, but you'll find reliable Italian fare as well as a fun evening. You can't go wrong with bruschetta, osso buco, house-made ravioli, and free-range lamb chops.

Always a fun, energetic and delicious eaterie. We live in the area and love great restaurants, and this is a favorite. Salads are always fresh, wine and beer selection is great, pasta delicious and the specials are never off. Service is relaible, and people-watching is best in the city! Enjoy!
