Fodor's Review:

Barbara Bates has been designing upscale fashions with a distinct urban edge since 1986 for a who's-who client list that includes Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jordan, Will Smith, and Mary J. Blige. But she's still invested in her community: her eponymous foundation donates custom prom dresses and tuxedos to disadvantaged inner-city teens set to graduate high school. This new studio showcases her couture and traditional labels.
