Turquoise Restaurant and Café

Turquoise Restaurant and Café Review

The bustling Turkish-owned café attempts to please every palate with a mixed menu of Continental and Turkish foods, but it's the latter that star here. Can't-miss items include lamb begendi (braised lamb shoulder with cherry tomatoes, red bell peppers, and eggplant), sogurme (a smoked-eggplant, yogurt, and walnut dip), and homemade lahmacun (a type of flat bread topped with ground beef). Vested waiters, white tablecloths, and wood-trimmed surroundings outclass the neighborhood lot.
