Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art

Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art Review

Modern and contemporary art fans head out to this small museum at the far western edge of the Ukrainian Village, near Wicker Park. Three permanent galleries feature mixed media, sculpture, painting, and some digital art. Some of the most interesting works are abstract or playful versions of Old World themes, like Evan Prokopov's 1998 abstract bronze of a mother cradling her child.
