West Town Tavern

West Town Tavern Review

While it's a little off the beaten path, trust your cabbie to get you here. The handsome wood bar and brick walls may be tavern staples, but the open kitchen and oversize dining-room mirror gives the impression that you'll find more than just cheeseburgers. The menu delivers with a mix of upscale comfort foods (try the house-made potato chips with balsamic syrup and Parmesan cheese—and pizza-style flat breads) and gussied-up fare like duck confit and pepper-crusted beef tenderloin in a zinfandel sauce. The focused wine list globe-trots for value.
